Dear Southside Families,

As we head into the sunny days of summer break, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to our wonderful parents and community. Your constant support and partnership are truly what make our school such an exceptional place for children to learn, grow, and fly.

This year, our students beautifully lived up to our identity as the Eagles, spreading their wings and learning to SOAR every single day - both in their academics and their character. We had the joy of celebrating these values during our meaningful end-of-year milestones. From watching our youngest Eagles take their first big step at Kindergarten Graduation, to cheering on our wonderful 6th graders as they transition to middle school, it has been a season of immense pride. A particularly magical highlight was a visit from our local high school alumni; seeing former Southside students return in their caps and gowns was a beautiful reminder of the deep roots and bright futures nurtured right here in our halls.

Thank you all for making this a truly magnificent year. I hope you take this summer to rest up, explore the great outdoors, dive into great books, and keep your curiosity alive. We already can’t wait to see your smiling faces back in the fall!
