Located in the Idaho Panhandle within the Cocolalla Valley, Southside Elementary School is a rural K-6 school with an enrollment of 183 students. JOG-A-THON
Coming to a school near you! 
May 13th our long anticipated tradition of running will begin and continue for 2 weeks!
Students are encouraged to participate in this fun school event that promotes a healthy lifestyle! 

Do you have any children ages 0-5? 
If so there is a great program in Sandpoint called  READY!for Kindergarten.
Here is some information to help you sign up for the next session:
FREE classes for the parents of young children ages birth to 5 who live within the LPOSD.  Learn how to help your child get READY! for Kindergarten by “playing with a purpose,” and take home fun, FREE toys, books, games, music and activities!  You’ll get to know other parents, too!  The spring READY! for Kindergarten classes, which will be held in Sandpoint on Saturday, April 13, 2013, will focus on social and emotional development. Free childcare, ages 13 months to 11 years. Please pre-register by going online to www.readysandpoint.org, or by calling our office, 208-263-7040.   Spring classes fill up quickly, so please register soon!
